Benefits of Using the DBITS Contract
All contracts have been competitively bid so you no longer have to prepare competitive solicitations or evaluate responses. DIR has done the time-consuming procurement work for you. Any Texas state, county or local government office or public education entity—no matter how small—can participate in the Co-op Contracts program.
Can public entities outside the State of Texas also use the DBITS contract?
Yes. Public entities outside the State of Texas may also use the DBITS contract.
Services Awarded
Indigo Beam offers the following technology categories through the DBITS contract:
Information Technology Project Management
- Definition: Project Management service providers may perform any or all of the project management processes identified by the Project Management Institute as published in the PMBOK Guide, Fifth Edition or most recent.
- Examples of included services: utilizing the Customer's tools and processes, using off-the-shelf tools, using Vendor's own proprietary tools and processes to manage a project and using the Texas Project Delivery Framework. Information about the framework tool can be found on the DIR website.
Business Intelligence (BI), Data Management, Analytics, and Automation, including Data Warehousing
- Definition: Business Intelligence and Data Management services provide organizations with the ability to consolidate, organize, and analyze data to support informed decision-making. These services include the design and implementation of data warehouses, analytics platforms, data pipelines, and automation solutions that integrate information from multiple systems and make it accessible for reporting, dashboards, and advanced analysis.
- Examples of included services: Data warehouse architectural design and roadmapping; Extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) of data from multiple sources; Data integration, migration, cleansing, and scrubbing; Development and support of data marts and analytical data stores; Deployment of BI tools, dashboards, and enterprise reporting platforms; Advanced analytics, including data mining, AI/ML integration, and predictive modeling; Automation of data pipelines, workflows, and reporting processes; Data governance planning and implementation; Business Analytics and Reporting (BAR) services; Prototype development, tuning, optimization, and performance improvements; Integration with enterprise applications and BI tools; Training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
How to Order
The DIR Cooperative Contracts program requires two items to be completed before work can begin:
1. Statement of Work
- Download the Statement of Work template for DBITS, complete the sections relevant to your project, and send to [javascript protected email address].
- View the steps for the SOW submission process.
- Indigo Beam will respond by the due date for evaluation.
2. Purchase Order
- Once the project details are finalized, the Statement of Work will be signed by both organizations and you can request a PO from your purchasing department to be submitted to Indigo Beam.
- Resulting Purchase Order must reference DIR-CPO-6054
- As soon as we receive the PO, we will begin work on your project.
